Take A Moment
Are you doing this time or is the time doing you? With so much idle time on our hands has it afforded you the opportunity to get clarity that you’ve needed? Have you caught up on much needed rest? Did you begin to write that book? What about brainstorming that business plan? Or have you been experiencing anxiety? Are you done with sitting still and ready to emerge into the world again?
As I sit still in a moment of quietness one of my close friends came to mind. She’s expecting and has experienced a journey prior to this Blessing that has been bestowed upon her and her husband. I began to feel so “Full”; not from eating but from the emotions that began to resonate in my spirit. Situations as such brings a sense of peace in all of the chaos that is currently taking place.
What we’re experiencing right now is unfortunate and it can be easy to focus on all that’s going “wrong.” People are passing away, Hospitals not having enough equipment nor proper gear to care for patients, people are separated from family and close friends due to being quarantined and the list goes on. But in this time of stillness lives are being birthed, relationships are being mended, and people are really looking to God.
I’m aware of some people who are finding it challenging to be still, but it’s a true time to Reflect, Rejuvenate, and Restart. Make sure you’re not allowing yourself to be consumed by the busyness of the world and give your self the precious time to Care for and Deal with You.
Be the greatest you,
J. Renee

1 Peter 5:10
And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
