Trials and Tribulation
I remember taking a survey for a young lady who planned to do a documentary on married women. One of the questions that was asked stood out to me; “How has prayer helped your life?” Well, that was easy for me to answer. Prayer has helped my life because it has provided a covering over my family and we hadn’t experienced many trials and tribulations. That was my answer at the time but after some reflecting, I was so wrong. We had gone through and experienced so much but what Prayer Did was Not Allow Us to Feel Defeated. That’s what prayer has done for me. It’s not that my life is perfect or that I haven’t gone through, it’s that I never felt defeated in the process. Within the last three years, I’ve been pregnant four times, given birth to three babies, lost two, and because of God’s Favor I have two amazing blessings, Jonah and Jenesis.
During my experiences of lost I felt hurt and disappointment but never defeated. I believe it was God’s Grace that helped me through, along with my husband, and caring family and friends. What has helped you when you are struggling? Prayer, meditation, therapy, or maybe all the above? When life happens to you how do you handle it? It’s important to not feel defeated even when it seems like you’ve lost the battle. All battles aren’t meant to be won. Being knocked down doesn’t make you a failure, deciding to stay down does so always get back up. It’s a process that sometimes may be slow but begin to crawl, start walking and before you know it you’ll be full fledge running. Let’s Go!

Be the greatest you,

2 Corinthians 12:9
And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness " Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me
1 Peter 5:10
And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you
