Who Are You?
I’ve recently come to the notion that we put so many titles on ourselves but who is it for? Is it for us? The world? God? When we place titles on ourselves it puts us in a box. If you’re boxed in you have limitations on: how far you will exceed, the expectations you have of yourself, and the way you allow the world to view you. “I’m Ghetto, I’m Hood, I’m Broke, I’m Smart, I’m a Perfectionist, I’m a Hustler.”
What is the point of your title? Is it to depict the image of who you truly are? Or is it so that you don’t have to live to standards of who you truly Should Be? When we give ourselves these titles and announce them for the world to hear then we are putting it in the atmosphere. We are speak these things into Existence.

Are you ghetto because you want to be intimidating, or you want to be deemed this way so people don’t expect more of you then the basics and being rowdy or is it because you’re truly scared of your own success and really inside you’re soft spoken and sensitive?
Are you a perfectionist because you hold yourself to a high standard? Success is what you want to exude and accomplishment is what you breathe? Or Is it because you’ve seen failure in the lives of those around you and you’re too scared to experience it thinking it may capture you into a whirlwind that you wouldn’t have the fight in you to get out of? Would failing make you feel less then?
Is Who You Are and Who You Are Called to be on one accord? It’s time to do some real self-reflection. Take off the self imposed limitations and Walk In Your Truth. It’s okay to let the world See You, and not who you claim to be.

Be the greatest you,
Psalm 86:1
