Let's Talk about SEX

Sex, the things I wish I would’ve known sooner concerning this act. Had I known then what I know now, I most definitely could’ve held out until marriage. Marriage was never a goal of mine. I just never wanted to regret who I lost my virginity to. While we all know that pre-martial sex is a sin, I was never informed of all of the other things that having sex brought about and the reason WHY I should wait. Yes, your virginity is precious and you can’t get it back. Yes, you can get pregnant/catch a disease if unprotected; but what about the deeper meaning of it all. What about the soul-ties/exchange of energy that you share with individuals once you share your body with them? What about the fact you can transfer those soul-ties onto others? Or because of your previous experiences, that thing that is supposed to be sacred between a husband and wife can now be compared to previous acts? We have to stop thinking that surface level conversations are enough. We wonder why people walk around so unfulfilled and struggling to find peace with loving one individual, they probably still have soul-ties that connects them to others and even soul-ties that have been transferred on to them by others. I’ve been in church since the age eleven, and I don’t recall ever hearing a sermon about why we should wait to have sex nor have I had an in depth conversation about it outside of church. Just because parents tell their children they should wait doesn’t mean that their words are going to resonate in their minds to fulfill that in which has been told or suggested. There has to be some Substance in our words. Let’s be Intentional.

Be the greatest you,
J. Renee

1 Thessalonians 4:3-4
For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor

1 Corinthians 6:16
16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”

1 Corinthians 6:18
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness
